DEPOSIT
To secure your Colour or Treatment appointment, which includes toner, highlights, balayage, root touch-up, and more, a non-refundable deposit of $56.50 ($50 plus taxes, totaling $56.50) is required.
Appointments will only be confirmed upon receipt of this deposit. The deposit will be applied as a credit towards your final balance at the conclusion of your appointment. However, it is essential to note that this deposit becomes non-refundable if you choose to cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice.
Kindly remit the deposit of $56.50 ($50 plus tax) through E-transfer to the following email address: tajindersstudio@gmail.com
The remaining balance for your service can be settled on the day of your appointment, either by E-transfer or cash (plus taxes). This policy is in place to protect the financial interests of the salon. Your understanding and compliance are appreciated.
ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT
- We kindly request that you wash your hair a day or two before your appointment and refrain from using any styling products.
- Please consider bringing a black or white old T-shirt to change into or wear one to avoid potential stains.
- For your safety and to protect your personal belongings, we advise against wearing expensive jewelry or clothing, including hoodies. The salon shall not be held liable for any lost or damaged items.
- In consideration of the safety and comfort of all clients, we kindly request that you arrive alone.
These guidelines are intended to ensure a positive and smooth salon experience while adhering to legal and safety standards. We appreciate your cooperation.
CANCELLATION/LATE POLICY
We understand the importance of respecting your time and that of our other clients while adhering to the laws and regulations of Ontario, Canada. Please take note of the following policies:
Late Arrivals:
We regret that late arrivals will not receive extensions of scheduled appointments. In some cases, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment, and this will be solely at our discretion, provided you have given proper, advanced notification of your late arrival.
A late fee of $15.00 will be imposed for delays exceeding 15 minutes beyond the scheduled time. We insist on honoring services for clients arriving late only at the discretion of the salon.
For clients arriving more than 20 minutes late, we will require rescheduling your appointment to a different date due to staff obligations, and your deposit may be forfeited.
Cancellations:
For any cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice before your appointment start time, your deposit will NOT be refunded. A new deposit will be necessary to book any subsequent appointments.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, and you may need to cancel or reschedule within less than 48 hours. In such cases, the policy will continue to apply, and the deposit will NOT be refunded under any circumstance.
However, for cancellations made 48 hours or more before your appointment, you may reschedule and apply your deposit towards that appointment. It's important to note that all deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a rescheduled appointment.
We appreciate your understanding and adherence to these policies, which help us maintain a professional and efficient salon experience while ensuring compliance with Ontario's legal requirements.
CHILDREN AND GUESTS
At Tajinder’s Studio, we appreciate and welcome clients of all ages. However, we have established guidelines regarding the presence of children and guests within our facility to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all our clients. Please take a moment to review our policy:
1. Children in the Salon:
- While we understand that our clients may need to bring their children with them to their appointments, we kindly request that parents or guardians supervise their children at all times.
- For the safety and enjoyment of all clients, children are not permitted to be unattended within the salon. Please ensure your child's behavior does not disturb other clients or interfere with our staff's ability to provide services.
2. Guests Accompanying Clients:
- Clients are welcome to bring guests to their appointments; however, we ask that guests maintain appropriate and respectful conduct throughout their visit.
- If clients wish to bring multiple guests, especially for consultations or styling advice, please notify us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
3. Salon Liability:
- While we take every precaution to ensure a safe and secure environment, Tajinder’s Studio and its owner shall not be held liable for accidents, injuries, or any incidents involving children or guests within our facility.
- Clients are responsible for the supervision and behavior of their children and guests during their visit to our salon.
4. Behavior and Disturbance:
- In the event that a child's or guest's behavior disrupts the salon's atmosphere or the services we provide, Tajinder’s Studio reserves the right to address the issue with the client, and if necessary, take appropriate action.

Our primary goal is to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all our clients during their time at our salon. CLEANLINESS AND HYGIENE

PRODUCT REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY
At Tajinder’s Studio, we are committed to delivering high-quality products to our clients. To ensure clarity regarding refunds, exchanges, and returns, please review our policy:
1. Product Purchases:
- We do not offer refunds on products purchased unless the product is deemed defective or damaged upon receipt.
- In the event of a defective or damaged product, please notify us within 10 days of purchase. We will assess the issue and, if confirmed, arrange for an exchange or replacement.
2. Exchanges:
- We offer exchanges for products that are unopened and in their original condition.
- Exchanges must be requested within 10 days of purchase, and the product must be accompanied by the original receipt.
3. Returns:
- We do not accept returns for products once they have been opened and used.
- Returns are only applicable for unopened and unused products within 10 days of purchase, with the original receipt.
